Developing a secure, collaborative environment for an infrastructure project

CIOs are rarely asked to create a platform that supports secure collaboration between thousands of partners for one of the UK’s biggest ever infrastructure projects as part of a national endeavour. But it happens, occasionally.

In an article written for premier manufacturing industry publication The Manufacturer, Steve Harnett, Digital Lead explains how AWE’s ‘Capital Programme’, spanning nearly 300 individual infrastructure projects, requires the creation of a unifying digital system to promote new and collaborative ways of working which ensure every element of this programme is synchronised, on time and on budget.
