Non-Ionising Radiation Protection Scientist
AWE is currently recruiting for a Non-Ionising Radiation Protection Specialist for Defence Radiation Protection Services. The work covers all aspects of non-ionising radiation including: static and low frequency electromagnetic fields, radio frequency fields, incoherent artificial optical radiation and lasers.
This role is ideally suited to someone with experience of non-ionising radiation safety, preferably with a strong grounding in physics or other discipline with a strong physics content.
Location: Alverstoke with free onsite parking.
Salary: £40,000 – £54,960 per annum + allowances

AWE is looking for an Training Manager – Control and Instrumentation (C&I) to join a team responsible for inspiring and leading our apprentices to a successful C&I career.
C&I is an enduring and key role required by the business to provide maintenance, installation and design of C&I systems to allow the programme to be successfully deployed.
This group of engineers is of particular importance to the modern facilities in construction at AWE and their requirement for PLC and sensor control; C&I is amongst the UK scarce resource. The academy is the key provider of the competent workforce into the business.
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
