As a Construction Site Management Degree Apprentice, you’ll learn how large construction projects are planned, managed and delivered safely. You’ll work with experienced teams on AWE’s new build programme, developing the skills needed to help manage construction activity on site.
You could help teams keep work moving to plan, check that it meets the required quality standards and project specifications, and learn how projects are managed against agreed standards, budgets and requirements.

THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED
An HNC in a related subject with a merit grade, a relevant Level 4 apprenticeship, or an equivalent Level 4 qualification. If you do not hold a Level 4 qualification, you will not be eligible for this apprenticeship.
Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent.

Your primary place of work will be AWE Aldermaston and/or AWE Burghfield in the Reading area, depending on your apprenticeship pathway, placements and business needs.
Due to the nature of our work and security requirements, you should expect to work on-site during your apprenticeship and in your role afterwards. Being on-site will help you learn directly from experienced specialists, access hands-on support and build valuable connections across the business.
At AWE, we operate on a nine-day fortnight, meaning you get every other Friday off work in addition to 270 hours of annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays.
